As Summer will be upon us before we know it, this post will be dedicated to assisting Class Reunions. We want to help publicize any class reunions that are already in the planning stages and facilitate creating any committees to plan those that are not.

Sending us information is as easy as leaving a comment on this post at the bottom. Comments do not post without being approved so your message will not be public unless you are leaving a comment intended for all readers.

For classes already planning their fifth, tenth, fifteenth or beyond class reunion, please send us the details. This is regardless of whether the reunion will be held in 2016 or later. Let us know who is responsible on your committee for providing publicity and how we can contact them, preferably their email address, in case we need further details.

When we receive information, a new individual post will be created for your class as well as updating this post with where to find that information.

Unfortunately, we can’t cram for these finals. We’re speaking of all the final moments this year. The final Varsity football game, the final Varsity football sectional win and the final Girls’ Varsity basketball game have already been played. We’re about to witness the final Boys’ Varsity basketball game at home on February 26. These are just a few of the hundreds of finals in the 2013-14 school year for Muncie Southside High School.

Therefore, we are reaching out to anyone who would like to provide memories of these final moments. If you have photos or information that pertain to the last moments of any event or organization, please contact us (use the contact link or leave a comment) so we can post it for permanent posterity.

By the way, please don’t feel slighted when we only mention football or basketball. These just happen to be some of the organizations that we’ve had the privilege to assist over the years. Your organization is just as important to us and we will give as much room as needed if you will provide the items.

I know that I count it a privilege to have been one of the referees to officiate the final Junior Varsity football game at home. It would be easy for any team to “phone it in” this year, but they all have and will give it their all.
